Angie Sikowski named “CFO of the Year” by Milwaukee Business Journal

One of Ansay & Associates own was honored with a major award recently. Angie Sikowski was named “CFO of the Year” by the Milwaukee Business Journal during its annual “C-Suite Stars” event on Friday, Aug. 13.

Sikowski has filled several roles throughout her years at Ansay & Associates, originally joining the team as a financial analyst, then a human resources manager, until moving into her current CFO role.

“No year has been the same, every year has been something different,” Sikowski told the Business Journal. “Being able to be in so many roles and learn from so many of my mentors has been a real career-changer for me.”

Sikowski’s work on acquisitions has proven pivotal for the success of Ansay & Associates. Since taking over the CFO role in 2013, she has helped close 16 acquisitions, and participated in a total of 21 since joining the company.

A team of Ansay & Associates employees was on hand to see Sikowski accept the honor, including Chairman & CEO Mike Ansay.

“She has an unbelievable work ethic, and her core values align with that of our company and we’re thankful for that,” Ansay told the Business Journal. “But the thing that’s been so impressive in observing her is her ability to comprehend, digest and continue the journey of self-improvement in all aspects.”
