Sheila attended the International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP) national conference and was honored with one of the national awards – the 2018 Risk Management Professional of the Year. This award recognizes a risk management professional who has demonstrated superior knowledge of the risk management field, experienced professional advancement through educational pursuits, demonstrated leadership in the field, and is an active participant in IAIP activities. Criteria includes IAIP involvement, continuing education, industry involvement, community involvement and an essay on an industry topic.
 

“All agencies say that they provide good customer service. I am committed to go beyond that and provide a memorable customer experience for the people I work with – both internal and external. Risk management with my customers entails setting up an annual service plan and being accountable for its execution. This plan will include reviewing their safety and loss control needs, monthly claim reviews, claim advocacy, experience modification analysis and projection, employee education, audit reviews, enrollment and implementation of our agency specific programs, and continual risk evaluation. I try to make the renewal (financial piece) a non-issue. Anyone can sell an insurance policy, but I provide an insurance solution and risk management program for my customers.”…….Sheila Fenolio
